Samantha qualified as a social worker in 2007. She completed the post-graduate diploma in applied systemic theory in 2013. Samantha has 15 years’ experience of working with children and families in statutory, hospital and court settings, including the Family Drug and Alcohol Court. She has worked as a frontline social worker, practice supervisor and manager.

Nadia Galvani is a qualified family and systemic psychotherapist as well as a social worker and practice educator. She has over 15 years’ experience of working with children, young people and their families and has worked in various social care settings including youth justice, education welfare, and children’s social care. She is currently employed in a London borough in a frontline child protection service. She has supported the learning and development of student social workers and newly qualified social workers in child protection teams.

<br>Mark trained as a Social Pedagogue in his native Germany before coming to the UK where his degree was considered a Social Work Qualification by the GSCC. He has worked as a social worker registered with Social Work England and he qualified as a systemic psychotherapist in 2015. He is due to complete his doctorate in systemic practice in 2023. Mark is currently undertraining a professional coaching qualification for the Institute for Leadership and Management.

Sharon is qualified as both a social worker and as a family and systemic psychotherapist. She has worked with children and families for the past 17 years in various roles which have included frontline social work and family support. She has managed a team of family support workers and is involved in delivering and supervising clinical interventions in that part of the service.

Maria is a qualified family and systemic psychotherapist. Her first discipline is in psychiatric nursing and she often brings this important perspective into her work. Maria has taught and embedded systemic ideas in child protection and child in need teams, youth offending teams, gangs and serious youth violence teams various London authorities.

Jamie gained his social work qualification in Perth, Australia, and he moved to the UK in 2009 to work in children’s social care. In 2016, Jamie completed his post-graduate certificate in child-focused systemic practice.

John qualified as a social worker in 1988. His background in social work has largely been in adult mental health though he has also worked in adult safeguarding, learning disability teams and older persons’ teams. He qualified as a systemic psychotherapist in 2000 and worked with a wide range of service users since, including holding a position as a psychotherapist in an NHS psychology department.
